SUNDAY SOUND BATHS AT THE BRAHAM EVENT CENTER

Join me for this special offerings at the Braham Event Center, 655 8th St SW, Braham, MN! The Sound Baths will be held on Sunday, May 21st from 1 pm - 3 pm. Please show up by 12:45 pm to select your space and get comfortable. That way, we’ll all be ready to settle into the soothing sonic vibes!

What is a sound bath? Sound baths are an immersive experience in the resonance of frosted crystal singing bowls. Sound baths harmonize and balance the body and mind, leaving you relaxed and restored. You will be guided verbally throughout the practice, so you can set your thinking mind aside and simply settle in and enjoy the tonal reverberations.

What are the benefits of sound baths? Besides being a very pleasant auditory experience, studies have shown that sound baths sooth the nervous system and may help balance and alleviate pain, depression, anxiety, and negative moods. Physical symptoms such as blood pressure and heart rate also have shown improvement after a sound bath.

What should I bring to the event? You can be seated or reclining during a sound bath, so bring whatever supports/materials (yoga mat, blankets, chair, etc) you feel would create the most comfortable experience. For maximum relaxation and enjoyment, I would suggest a yoga mat, a blanket for support, and a blanket for warmth so that you can completely release into the experience.

Upcoming dates:

Sunday, May 21st, 12:45 - 2 pm

Friday, June 23rd, 6:45 - 8 pm

Sunday, July 23rd, 12:45 - 2 pm

Sunday, Aug 27th, 12:45 - 2 pm

The cost for each Sunday Sound Bath is $35 if you preregister and prepay with me through the contact form. The cost at the door will be $45.

Looking forward to sharing this resonant experience with you!

Virtual Mandala Painting Foundation Class: Mercury Astrology

Mercury Retro-what?

Join yoga therapist Bridgett Erickson and myself for a unique offering to learn about Mercury retrograde and construct a mandala to honor this prominent planet.

Learn about the uniqueness of the different retrogrades of Mercury and how to skillfully navigate the retrograde which begins May 29, 2021.

The natural and cosmic forces are always at play in our lives, being aware and working in co-creating with those forces is akin to swimming with the current: it makes everything a little easier. We will touch on the astrology that is at play and you will have a mandala as a reminder of your intentions and some basics on adding the mandala to your altar or starting to create your altar for the days to come.

This class is perfect for students who have taken a mandala class yet want to learn some of the techniques that were prepared for your experience. Students planning to take a mandala series and are ready to dive in? This will prepare you for future success. Students interested in learning more about astrology, but would like to dip your toes in the water gradually - this will be perfect! And, we will just plain have a lot of fun!

This training will be held on Zoom. Live stream details will be sent out a day before the workshop. Cost includes both audio and video recordings.

Workshop cost: $50
