Navgraha Mantra Workshop
Mantra & sound-based yoga practices are not only incredibly enjoyable, they are amazingly powerful tools for meditation and self-study. Mantra calms and focuses the mind, decreases stress and anxiety, promotes relaxation in the body, improves mood and emotional well-being, balances and harmonizes energy, fosters greater peace, and, it’s just plain enjoyable!
For this 2-hour workshop, we’ll be learning and practicing a Navgraha Mantra (Planetary Mantra for All Nine Planets). Practicing this mantra attunes one to the energies of the 9 planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and the North/South Nodes. We are not only practicing the mantra in class, but also teaching the meaning and the pronunciation of the Sanskrit mantra. At the end of this 2-hour workhop, you will have a greater understanding and a personal connection to the inner sounds and resonances of yourself and the planets.
What is included in this 2-hour workshop? You will receive handouts and a recording of the workshop. The recording of the workshop will be available via dropbox for 2 weeks after the conclusion of the class.
